Role Summary:

The Outreach Coordinator is a part-time role that will organize outreach efforts and develop relationships with schools and youth-serving nonprofits in the Denver Metro area to promote Joy as Resistance program services. This role is responsible for developing and executing an outreach plan aligned with programs’ goals, including creating quarterly revenue-aligned strategies for recruiting community members and enrolling them in our services.

The Outreach Coordinator will be tasked with attending in-person outreach events, organizing tabling activities, and participating in community engagement events to build relationships. Additionally, they will be involved in data management and evaluation, utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to track outreach efforts and quantify program impact. In collaboration with program managers, their outreach focus will change depending on fluctuating needs of each program as the organization grows and the calendar year progresses.

Role Summary:

The Big Queer, Little Queer Program Coordinator is a part-time role that will organize and carry out BQLQ community events as well as facilitate Mentor Trainings. This position will respond to inquiry emails, write BQLQ program newsletters, and support program outreach efforts in collaboration with the Outreach Coordinator. This role is responsible for reviewing Mentor and Mentee applications, managing communication with Mentors and Mentees, and supporting the BQLQ Program Manager in the development and scaling of the program. Additionally, they’ll be involved in data management and evaluation, utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to track participant data and quantify program impact.

As a Joy Board Member, you will play a crucial role in shaping the direction and impact of our organization. Responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Joy team and our community to develop and implement strategic plans to further our mission and vision.

  • Governance: Provide oversight and guidance on organizational policies, procedures, and financial matters to ensure accountability and transparency.

  • Fundraising: Actively participate in fundraising efforts to sustain and grow our programs and services.

  • Community Engagement: Serve as ambassadors for the organization, fostering relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and supporters to expand our reach and impact.
